Hoian - My Son
In the morning, take a private car from Hoian Town to My Son Holy Land. This is the most spectacular religious relic and the most characteristic of Champa which was constantly built over 1000 years. Was started in the 4th century by the king Bhadravarman (reigned from 349 to 361) and ended at the end of the 13th century and in the early 14th century in the reign of Jaya Simhavarman III.
Continue the trip to back to Hoian that was recognized by UNESCO as being World Cultural Heritage in 1999. Hoian used to serve as an active port of trade with the Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese people during the 17th and 18th centuries. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, take a visit the 400 years old Japanese Covered Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple and the Tan Ky ancient house. Next, you will take a cruise on boat on Thu Bon River to visit Ceramic and Carpenter Villages. Explore the life of the local people. Take free walk in the small street of Hoian which is famous for its numerous tailor-made clothing shop.
