Mekong Delta Day Trip from Ho Chi Minh

8:00 Be picked up at your hotel by the tour guide and driver.

We will immediately make you feel extremely comfortable. Our knowledgeable guide will explain about Vietnam and the culture as you enjoy your drive towards the destinations and admire green paddy fields on the way.

First stop on the way is a visit to the chocolate factory where you will directly be involved in some stages of chocolate making and be explained of the processing making chocolate and even enjoy a taste of the final products.

We continue to Cai Be.

Upon arrival, you will embark on board for a nice boat ride on the river Tien to visit the Cai Be floating market and along the way stop by the candy factory. Taste YUMMY coconut caramel.

You will also experience Pop Rice, and taste some local alcohol such as: Snake Wine, Fruit Wine,…

If you are brave enough, try to hold the local pet, Python.

Back on board you will have a refreshing coconut drink waiting for you.

Your next stop is at Ms. Ba Hang's family where you have chance to enjoy fruit tasting while listening to traditional music of the Mekong Delta.

Afterwards, you will experiencing hand rowing sampan – a traditional boat for a gentle ride through waterways of the small canals.

Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant, where you experience local Vietnamese cuisine and learn how to make donuts using Jackfruit leaves.

Back on board; continue travel to Tan Phong Island where you see the flower garden of Hai Yen, and Linh Chi mushroom cultivation which is one of the rare and valuable ones in Vietnam.

You will also see many hand woven products from local river grasses (purple hyacinth flowers), and you will have the opportunity to weave your own bracelets.

We will be finished the afternoon off with some delicious honey tea tasting and sample some rare black garlic at bee breeding farm.

5:00 Back to Saigon and hotel drop-off.
